Howdy!

I am a jeweller based in Perth, Western Australia.

Devan Jewellery is a team of just one, I am proud to design and make my work in my Fremantle studio. Before launching my website in 2018, I studied jewellery making and design for 4 years, at both Contemporary Metal and North Metropolitan TAFE. Making jewellery is my one true love, but I’ll still admit to having a thing with photography and graphic design on the side. When I’m not making jewellery, you can usually find me somewhere on public transport, distracted by a good book.

INSPIRATION

For the perfect collection to launch with my website, I went back to my lifelong love of all things medieval and magical. Swords, gothic architecture, armoury and more can be seen in this work. As a Harry Potter fan, period film enthusiast and former dragon-obsessed child, I wanted these pieces to possess that bewitching, mythical feeling that consumed me in my youth.

Jewellery is, at its core, wearable art. I hope these pieces find their way to my fellow magic obsessed creatives.
